Cryer Malt is committed to the health and safety of our employees and customers. Given the evolving global COVID-19 situation, we would like to assure you, our customers, that we are taking all possible steps to provide uninterrupted supply and excellent service to you.
Cryer Malt know that they would not have a business without you, and we recognise the very uncertain times that swirl around us right now. The key driver of this is your cashflow and we are here to support you. Our Sales Team are available to you at any time, please ring or email to discuss any concerns.
If you do ring on the landline number and you don’t get an answer straight away, please don’t hesitate to contact your Sales Manager directly. We recognise that this situation will not last forever and it’s important to us we work with your business and get through this together. We recommend you build in extra time for all orders to ensure we can prioritize with our transport providers to meet your delivery requirements.
Cryer Malt supports and adheres to all guidelines established by the Australia and New Zealand Governments, their Chief Medical and Scientific Officers and the World Health Organization. We are monitoring these guidelines daily and keeping our staff informed.
With Cryer Malt having product stored in four States in Australia and three cities in New Zealand, we are well prepared to support you during this difficult time. In the unlikely event of a warehouse closure, we are in the fortunate position whereby we can supply from interstate to ensure disruption to your business is minimised. Our sister company Barrett Burston Malting has three malt houses strategically placed across Australia and all malt houses remain operational during this time to maintain bulk malt supply.
With our global supply chain, we will be able to manage any unforeseen disruptions. We are working closely with our domestic and international partners to keep our sites well stocked with the products and ingredients that you need:

Our transport and logistics partners continue to follow all our CoR, Workplace Health & Safety, and Food-Safety standards. We are not currently experiencing service issues with truck, postal carriers or ocean freight operators.

Please note, to reduce the risks for our people and our customers, we have suspended visits to our malthouses and warehouses. Additionally, business travel and customer visits have been significantly limited.
